今や全国的に知られるようになった北海道のザンギ。唐揚げよりも醤油ベースのタレに長く漬け込み、濃厚な味付けで揚げたザンギは、昭和35年、ここ釧路の「鳥松」から始まったと言われています。中国料理の「ザーギー」なる鶏の唐揚げを「運」がつくように「ザンギ」と名付け、骨付き肉を揚げて、ウスターソースをベースにしたタレを添えて出すようになりました。それが釧路中、北海道中に広がり、道民のソウルフードとして定着しています。生姜を使った元祖ザンギはサッパリしていて食べやすく、タレともよく合う！骨付き、骨なし、手羽先、揚げたてをカウンター越しで食べられるのは釧路ならではの醍醐味です。   Zangi in Hokkaido now became known nationwide.
